Antoon De Baets(PhD. 1988) is professor of History, Ethics and Human Rights by Special Appointment of the Foundation Euroclio at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. He is the author of 190 publications, mainly on the censorship of history, the ethics of historians, and the history of human rights. This includes books such as Responsible History (New York / Oxford: Berghahn Books, 2009) and Crimes against History (London: Routledge, 2019).
